William Shatner Space Launch With Blue Origin, Van Horn, Texas, USA - 10 Oct 2021

'Star Trek' actor WILLIAM SHATNER took an 11-minute trip into space aboard a Blue Origin flight. Shatner rode alongside three other passengers. At age 90, Shatner became the oldest person to have flown in space. After landing back on Earth, Shatner said the flight was 'the most profound experience' he could imagine. 'I hope I can maintain what I feel now. I don't want to lose it,' he said. Shatner flew along with three other private citizens as part of a Blue Origin suborbital spaceflight. They are: Glen De Vries, vice chair for life sciences and healthcare at the French software company Dassault Systemes; Audrey Powers, Blue Origin vice president of mission and flight operations; and Chris Boshuizen, co-founder of the Earth-observation company Planet.
