Lebanese deputies count the votes during a parliament session to elect a new Lebanese president, at the Lebanese Parliament building in downtown Beirut, Lebanon, 20 October 2022. The Members of the Parliament on 20 October failed to elect a new president to the country after 42 deputies voted for Michel Moawad, 55 left voting paper blank, and 22 voted for other names. Lebanese Parliament Speaker has set a new date for another presidential election session on 24 October 2022 as President Michel Aoun's term is set to end on 31 October.
