In the Vincennes Administrative Retention Center (CRA), which was run by the national police, about 200 undocumented men and illegal residents are being held. They denounce deplorable living conditions, violence and untreated health problems. Many of ? ? even attempted suicide. No activities, classes or walks are offered, and the men are forced to wander around their small shared room, with toilet paper taped to the windows as curtains. The only outing they are allowed is to the outside yard, a huge wire cage with a foam ball as its only distraction.
