Corn Harvest, Bogura, Rajshahi, Bangladesh - 03 May 2024
Farmers are surrounded by bright yellow corn as they dry ears of corn in the sunlight in Bogura, Bangladesh. After collecting cornsticks from the field, they tear up the white cover and dry the sticks in sunlight for about four days. Once it is dried, it is sent to be sold across Bangladesh. The corn will be processed and ground down into flour to make bread and various food products. Many farmers regularly cultivate corn in their fields every year to earn their livelihood. Moreover, the yield this year has been better than last year because of the favorable weather conditions.
