Women walk across a drought-struck lake caused by global warming as they make their daily trip to fetch drinking water in Sathira, Bangladesh. The photos were taken by Ab Rashid from Khulna, Bangladesh.
The 34 year old said: 'Every summer this area is affected by droughts. They occur due to extreme heat, the salty soil, and lack of rainfall.'
'This rural Bangladeshi village has only one well for drinking water which is not enough for all of the people, so the women have to walk up to 3km every day to collect more.'
