Attendees sign a letter to at Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev at the "Campaign to the Summit", a march on Washington, D.C. supporting freedom for Jews living in the Soviet Union, on Sunday, December 6, 1987. 200,000 people marched to focus attention on the repression of Soviet Jewry, was scheduled a day before United States President Ronald Reagan and Gorbachev began a 2 day summit in Washington where they signed the Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty.
