After more than two years of being stopped by the COVID-19 pandemic, art activities in villages of the Wonosobo district and several other areas in Central Java, have finally been held again. One of them is the Lengger dance, which is held in Wonosobo district villages and is a traditional folk art from the Wonosobo Regency era in Central Java. It is mostly presented in the form of pair dances in masks and costumes. Dance, which is said was used by Islamic saints to preach Islam, is getting increasingly popular, especially in the Wonosobo and Temanggung districts in Central Java.
