Nasa to launch Astrobotic's Peregrine Mission One to the Moon, Titusville, Usa - 07 Jan 2024
The United Launch Alliance Vulcan Centaur rocket, part of the Astrobotic Peregrine Mission One, is docked at the Space Launch Complex 41 at Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island, Florida, USA, 07 January 2024. According to NASA, the launch of Astrobotic Peregrine Mission One, scheduled for the 08 January 2024, will carry NASA and commercial payloads to the Moon to study the lunar exosphere, thermal properties, and hydrogen abundance of the lunar regolith, magnetic fields, and the radiation environment of the lunar surface, as part of NASA's Artemis lunar exploration program.
