Six Rijksmuseum Objects Are Going Back to Sri Lanka, Amsterdam - 06 Jul 2023
AMSTERDAM - Two sabers (chestnuts), a ceremonial sword from Sri Lanka and a knife (pita-kaetta). It is one of six objects that are still in the Rijksmuseum, but are being returned to their country of origin. The objects that belonged to the royal family of Kandy were brought from Sri Lanka during colonial times.
