I am an Indigenous photographer who has always had a love of capturing life with my camera, both the small everyday moments, and the larger events, and who enjoys showcasing the beauty of our world. Canon is my camera brand of choice, although I use a variety of lenses, from modern Canon L lenses to inexpensive manual focus lenses in a variety of mounts, adapted to my modern DSLR. I have entered photos in local fall fairs where I have won multiple ribbons, and in various contests where my winning submissions were featured in calendars. While I do sometimes enjoy creative edits in post processing, I think the best photographs are those that stand on their own with minimal editing. The goal is to compose and capture the scene and use the available lighting to create an image that does not need to be greatly doctored to express the photographer's vision.
