A campaign group set up by former in-patients and their families called First Do No Harm, held a vigil today outside the former children's Mental Health Hospital, Taplow Manor Hospital (TMH) in Taplow, Maidenhead. The former hospital "at the centre of rape and death inquiries" where 50 patients who alleged "systemic abuse" has now closed permanently. The THM formerly known as the Huntercombe Hospital was run by the Active Care Group (ACG). It was rated as inadequate by the Care Quality Commission in March. Taplow Manor is reported to be "facing a police investigation and criminal prosecution by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) after the death of a 14-year-old girl, and another police inquiry into the alleged rape of a child involving two staff members".
