The memory of the murder of Giorgiana Masi. Rome, Italy. - 12 May 2024
An activist of the feminist and transfeminist movement Non Una di Meno (Not One Less) speaks into the microphone, in the background two sheets of paper above the plaque commemorating her murder show the old photo of Giorgiana Masi during the commemoration of the murder of Giorgiana Masi in Rome. Giorgiana Masi, a 19-year-old student, was killed in Rome near Ponte Garibaldi, hit by a bullet fired from behind, apparently by the police, on 12 May 1977 during an unauthorized demonstration on the anniversary of the victory of the referendum on divorce. The murder is still without culprits.
