Salvamento Maritimo has rescued a dinghy that was trying to reach the Spanish coast with a total of 25 migrants on board, and transferred them to the Port of Malaga where they were assisted by the Spanish Red Cross. An intensive border patrol by Moroccans authorities has caused a drastic drop in the number of migrants that try to reach the Spanish coasts across Alboran Sea route. The arrival of migrants toward Canary Islands coasts (one of the most dangerous migration routes) has increased during the last months.
