South Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia, July 15, 2021: A food stall called ''Kangen Sari'' in the Sandratex area, South Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia, has been around for decades, but since COVID-19 attacked Indonesia, this food stall has experienced a drastic decline in income. Usually per day the income reaches one million rupiah, since covid19 the income is only two hundred thousand per day. In the end, Ibu Yati had to fire five of her employees because she couldn't afford to pay them anymore, the food stall was threatened with closing due to continuous losses and Ibu Yati planned to return to her hometown in Java after the rent from the restaurant was paid off. The story of this restaurant owned by Mrs. Yati is a bit of the story of the destruction of the lower-middle economy in Indonesia due to covid19.
