Seven Boeing 737 Max 8 planes immobilized in Canary Islands airports, Telde, Spain - 13 Mar 2019
Five Boeing 737 Max 8 planes of SmartWings (Travel Service) (R), Norwegian Airways (2-R, 3-R and 4-R) and a TUI Fly (L) are parked along with a Boeing 737-8AS of Ryanair (2-L) at Gran Canaria's Airport in Telde, Gran Canaria island, southwestern Spain, 13, March 2019, after a total of seven planes were immobilized a day earlier on the Canary Islands due to an order issued by European Aviation Safety Agency. Five planes have to wait in Gran Canaria and two other on the Tenerife island's Sur airport. European authorities have suspended flights using Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft for safety concerns after an Ethiopian Airlines 737 Max 8 crashed minutes after take-off on 10 March.
