Explosions have been reported in several districts around Ukraine on 31 October. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on social media that power engineers were working to restore electricity supply after damage to an energy facility that powers around 350,000 apartments in Kyiv. Some parts of the city were left with no water as a result of strikes on critical infrastructure facilities, the mayor added.
