Residents are filling water bottles and jars from a water supply tap provided by Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC) in Siliguri, India, on June 2, 2024, after the drinking water supply resumed today. The entire area, including 47 wards under Siliguri Municipal Corporation, is facing drinking water problems due to last year's flash floods in the Teesta River, affecting the drinking water treatment plants that supply water to various wards in Siliguri.
