A host of golden daffodils have flowered three weeks early in time for Mother's Day after England and Wales had their warmest Februarys on record.
Little three and four-year-olds Annie, Ashlene and Aidan were pictured in a field of bright yellow blooms at Taylor's Bulbs in Spalding, Lincolnshire, as they made the most of the sunshine.
It means the flowers are three weeks earlier than usual and there are plenty available in the shops for Mother's Day on Sunday (March 10).
