At the Gelderland border town of Lobith, a level of 12.85 meters above NAP (the base used to measure water levels) was measured. In Nijmegen, low parts of the quay, and around the harbor at the Waalkade are underwater. The water level of the Rhine reached a peak on Friday morning, but it was less high than initially expected. The expectation was that the water would rise to more than 13 meters above NAP.
