Demonstrators from the Santa Marta community protest against metal mining at a rally in support of community leaders who face a judicial process in San Salvador, El Salvador, 03 April 2024. A group of inhabitants of a community in the north of El Salvador gathered this 03 April at the San Salvador headquarters of the Judicial Center to provide support to five community leaders who face a preliminary hearing on charges of murder, deprivation of liberty and illicit groups.
