Election Campaign CDU - Laschet and Musk visit Tesla Factory, Grünheide, Brandenburg, Germany - 13 Aug 2021
Elon Musk, Tesla CEO, is on the premises of Tesla Gigafactory at a press meeting. On the same day, CDU Federal Chairman and Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, Laschet, visited the Tesla plant under construction. In Grünheide near Berlin, the first vehicles are expected to roll off the line from the end of 2021. The US company intends to build around 500,000 copies of the compact model 3 and model Y series here every year.
