Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson has resigned as an MP claiming that he was "forced out of Parliament" by the investigation into the Covid-19 Partygate saga. His resignation will now trigger a by-election in his former constituency of Uxbridge and South Ruislip. The general consensus of residents, workers and shoppers in Uxbridge this morning were either that they were not interested, not bothered or happy that Boris Johnson has resigned
