The Ezhou Huahu Airport, an all-cargo hub airport starting operations in July 2022, is now running 48 domestic routes and 17 international routes. China's largest freighter operator, SF Airlines, is developing the airport as its main cargo hub in partnership with Hubei Province. The SF Transfer Centre at Huahu Airport spans an 750,000-square meter cargo transfer center with parcel sorting lines adding up to 52 kilometers, and its international throughput has exceeded 80,000 tons.
In Q1, its cargo and mail throughput reached 151,000 tons, ranking sixth and maintaining the fastest growth rate nationwide.
