The Shutterstock API allows you to access our full image, video, and music library using Shutterstock’s best-in-class search, licensing, and image editing capabilities.
In order to use our API, you need to:
- Sign up for a free Shutterstock account
- Create your application to receive your consumer key and secret
- Make your first API call
With the API, you can work with images, video clips, and music tracks for all Shutterstock subscriptions.
The API reference provides examples in cURL, Node.JS, PHP, and the Shutterstock command-line client. See the documentation for your preferred programming language for information on how to use REST APIs.
