HKSAR Move to Draft Article 23 At Soonest, While Condemning UK Based NGO HONG KONG WATCH of ' Deliberate Smears ', China - 21 Feb 2024

In Hong Kong, at the local Audio-Video retail shop, a TV Set display a news report concerning HKSAR move to draft controversial police law ARTICLE 23 in addition to the already established HONG KONG NATIONAL SECURITY LAW. Meanwhile HKSAR have condemned UK BASED NGO, HONG KONG WATCH has made ' skewed remarks ' about the domestic security law, slamming it as a ' deliberate smear '. The joint statement made by HONG KONG WATCH and other activists groups commentated, ' The proposed law ( Article 23 ) includes a number of procedural changes that will dramatically undermine Hong Kong people's due process and fair trial rights '.
