'Grantchester' TV show on set filming, Cambridge, UK - 18 Oct 2022

Picture shows Robson Green, Kacey Ainsworth and Tessa Peake-Jones (right) filming the latest series of the ITV drama Grantchester in Cambridge . Tessa Peake-Jones looks like she is taking tips from Julie Andrews in the Sound of Music as she becomes a nanny in ITV's Grantchester and dresses the kids in matching outfits. The actress, who plays Mrs C in the crime drama, is given the job of looking after Robson Green's on-screen children for the day in a scene in series eight of the TV show. And it looks as though she is taking her role very seriously as she lines them up in height order in a scene reminiscent of The Sound of Music. She even dresses herself and the children in matching floral attire in a similar way to Julie Andrews' character Maria, who makes clothes for her kids out of curtains. Robson Green, who plays DI Geordie Keating, and his on-screen wife Kacey Ainsworth, who plays Cathy Keating, look bemused as they watch their children leave. The cast have been back in Cambridge and the pretty village of Grantchester to film the final scenes for series eight, which is adapted from the Grantchester Mysteries novels by James Runcie and was developed for television by Daisy Coulam. Returning cast members this season include Oliver Dimsdale as Daniel Marlowe and Nick Brimble as Jack Chapman. The series will range from Speedway to spies, exploring the lives of invisible women and the very visible problems caused by Leonard's new vocation which may, once again, find him battling the law. Special guest actors for this series include Shaun Dingwall (Top Boy. Noughts & Crosses), Jeff Rawle (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) and Jemima Rooper (Gold Digger).
