Manel Subirats was born in Barcelona in 1972. He has been professionally devoted to photojournalism for more than 20 years. He started as a graphic designer and editor for a local magazine until he jumped to press photography for newspapers and magazines, both local and regional of the North of Barcelona, ​​where he remained permanently and went end up becoming the head of photography. He has worked as a teacher at various educational centers in the peninsula in the hands of Fujifilm and, moreover, has been a beta tester of some cameras that the brand has put up for sale. He has exhibited in several exhibit halls such as the Sala Ciutat de Barcelona. He has participated as a jury in several photographic competitions of national scope. He also works as a freelance photographer for various commercial brands and tourist entities from different countries and cities.
