Regional Justice allows bars and restaurants to reopen in the Basque Country, Vitoria, Spain - 10 Feb 2021
A bartender prepares a coffee in a bar in Vitoria, Basque Country, Spain, 10 February 2021, after restaurants and bars in the so-called 'red zones', areas with high numbers of coronavirus cases, were allowed to reopen due to a regional judicial decision. The Basque Superior Court decide on 09 February 2021 to allow restaurants and bars in the 'red zones' to reopen following the measures of 50 percent of capacity, social distancing between tables, a maximum of four people per table and closing time at 8.00 pm with take aways until 9.00 pm. The Superior Court announced this decision as a provisional measure to avoid further economical losses after bars and restaurants associations demanded justice to allow them to reopen their businesses.
