Youth Demand Israel Stop Bombing Rafah protest in London, UK - 11May 2024
Protesters chant slogans through a megaphone and raise their hands in peace salutes as they close Waterloo Bridge by letting off multiple smoke flares. A Pro-Palestinian protest was held around the Waterloo area of London, with protesters closing Waterloo Bridge for a period of time. The demonstration was organised by the Youth Demand and supported by Health Workers For Palestine. They are calling for a two way arms embargo with Israel and a cessation of bombing of Rafah. Israel continues to target Gaza over six months since the war began.
