ICRC warns of further food insecurity in Yemen due to humanitarian funding shortage, Sanaa - 06 Nov 2022

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has warned that aid groups operating in Yemen may be forced to scale down operations due to the significant shortage of funding, despite nearly 23.4 million people out of Yemen's 30 million population are food insecure and in need of humanitarian assistance to ward off the risk of famine. The war-ravaged country is facing one of the world's worst humanitarian crises, according to UN aid agencies.
