Hundreds of protesters are gathering with banners and burning used tires as the wave of protests to reject the presidential election continues in front of the Parliament building in Jakarta, Indonesia, on March 5, 2024. They are urging the parliament to immediately exercise the right of inquiry to impeach President Joko Widodo, who is deemed to have interfered in the general election process, resulting in the victory of the presidential candidate and Minister of Defense of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, along with vice-presidential candidate Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who is the eldest son of President Joko Widodo.
