Police are maintaining a presence following a mass shooting that is injuring five people and another person who is suffering a broken ankle on North Pulaski Road in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on June 17, 2024. At approximately 12:46 a.m., Monday morning on the 900 block of N. Pulaski Road, Chicago police are finding multiple victims who are struck by gunfire. A 35-year-old male victim is sustaining one gunshot wound to the foot and is being transported to the hospital in fair condition. A 15-year-old female is sustaining one gunshot wound to the neck and is being transported to the hospital in serious condition. A 25-year-old male is sustaining one gunshot wound to the buttocks and is being transported to the hospital in fair condition. An 18-year-old female is sustaining two gunshot wounds to the back and is being transported to the hospital in fair condition. A 19-year-old female is sustaining one gunshot wound to the arm and is being transported to the hospital where she is listed in fair condition. A 33-year-old female is sustaining a broken ankle and is being transported to St. Mary's in fair condition. Preliminary investigation indicates that an offender is fleeing the scene on foot after discharging a firearm at the victims.
