Pakistan carries out missile attack on Iran-Pakistan border village, Karachi - 19 Jan 2024

Iran claimed to have targeted the Baloch separatist and Sunni militant group Jaish ul-Adl in an aerial and drone attack on 16 January 2024 in Pakistan's Balochistan province. On 18 January 2024, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry stated that the Pakistani military conducted a series of highly coordinated and precisely targeted strikes against terrorist hideouts in the Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan, as a demonstration of its determination to protect and defend its national security.
