Firefighters continue to work after a Japan Airline (JAL) passenger plane bursts into flames on the tarmac at Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan, 02 January 2024. The airplane carrying 367 passengers and 12 crew crashed with a Japan Coast Guard plane transporting relief supplies for earthquake disaster area. All passengers and crew on board the passenger plane evacuated safely. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, five of the six crew on board the Japan Coast Guard aircraft, excluding the captain, were confirmed dead.
