Jockey Frankie Dettori has been given a 16 day ban today by the British Horse Racing Authority, Whip Review Committee, for over whipping horses Trawlerman and Kinross at the QIPCO British Champions Day at Ascot Racecourse on Saturay. This means he will now miss riding in the Melbourne Cup.
