Another footage shows massive military vehicles being transported through the city center of Xiamen. U.S House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is anticipated to land on Taipei on Tuesday amid her high-profile Asia tour. The stop -- the first for a US House speaker in 25 years -- is not currently on Pelosi's public itinerary and comes at a time when US-China relations are already at a low point. The Taiwanese official added that she is expected to stay in Taiwan overnight. China on Friday July 29, 2022 announced holding a military drill around Taiwan amid mounting tensions over US House speaker Nancy Pelosi's planned visit to the island nation.
