Seven year anniversary of earthquake, tsunami and nuclear accident in Japan, Futaba - 08 Mar 2018

Residents and workers are allowed to enter to the town daytime but need to leave the area before 17:00. The tsunami following the magnitude 9.0 earthquake devastated Unit 1 to 4 at the TEPCO's nuclear power plant in 11 March 2011. The seventh anniversary of the 9.0-magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami that devastated northeastern Japan and triggered a nuclear disaster at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant will be marked on 11 March 2018.
