First public appearance of three Bangalore Tiger cubs at the National Zoological Gardens in Sri Lanka, Colombo - 02 Jun 2022
Two of three, 3-month-old Bengal Tiger (Panthera tigris tigris) cubs in their enclosure at the National Zoological Gardens at Dehiwala in Colombo, Sri Lanka, 02 June 2022. The parents of these Bengal tigers were brought to Sri Lanka from China in 2009. They were at the island's premier zoo at Dehiwala and the tigress successfully gave birth to three male cubs. The cubs were kept away from public view while being specially cared for and nourished. Today, for the first time, the cubs were presented to the public attracting a huge crowd of viewers.
