National Congress party activists blocked on Wednesday a road and shout slogans against the central government as they protest after the cooking gas and fuel price hike in Kolkata, Eastern India. Over 100 activists protested in different places against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government following a price hike in daily use items, fuel prices and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders as petrol and diesel prices keep rising.
