Peasants demand land titling after 29-day march through Bolivia, La Paz, BO - 02 Aug 2022
Thousands of peasants from eastern Bolivia arrived Monday in La Paz, after a 29-day march and almost 900 kilometers traveled to the west of the country, in order to meet with President Luis Arce and start negotiations to obtain land titles, along with other demands. The mobilization entered the center of La Paz around 14.00 local time (18.00 GMT) carrying the country's flag, the Wiphala that represents a large part of the indigenous communities and the Santa Cruz flag, the area where they come from, under the demand for "titling" of lands.
