Food Rescue Alliance hands over anniversary cake to German government, Berlin, Germany - 02 May 2024

World Wildlife Fund For Nature (WWF) Germany and Deutsche Umwelthilfe (Environmental Action Germany - DUH) together with Buendnis Lebensmittelrettung (Food Rescue Alliance) handed over their demands and a 'anniversary cake' made from rescued food to the German government. In 2016, the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) proclaimed 02 May as a symbolic day of food waste.
