Taxidermist Miguel Vargas shows a stuffed hummingbird in his studio in Bogota, Colombia, 13 March 2024 (issued 20 March 2024). Dogs, cats, hummingbirds and even a small hammerhead shark are some of the stuffed animals that decorate the walls of the studio of Miguel Vargas, who claims to be the only taxidermist who practices this profession in Bogota. At only 33 years old, with a self-taught education and a Biology diploma from the National University of Colombia, Vargas is dedicated to making art based on the death of some of the most beloved family members: pets; giving them 'eternal life' with their loved ones.重要資訊
