India's national space agency Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched the Aditya Lagrange Point (L1), its first mission dedicated to studying the Sun at 11:50 AM IST at the spaceport in Sriharikota, after its successful landing of the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft on the lunar south pole. The ADITYA L-1 is planned to be placed in a halo orbit around the Lagrange point 1 (L1) of the Sun-Earth line, which is about 1.5 million km (930,000 miles) away from Earth in the direction of the Sun.重要資訊
